Related disciplines to vibrations
Vibrations are excited by kinetic, kinematic, flow-induced and/or electromagnetic forces. In addition to the above, their stiffness and mass also have an influence on their behavior. In order to fully penetrate a vibration, we therefore move within the physical discipline from which the excitation originates. The most common simulation methods in these disciplines, often in combination, are the finite element method (FEM) and multi-body simulation (MBS).
