Non-linear nature of flow phenomena

Flow processes are generally non-linear and can exhibit complex interactions between pressure, velocity, temperature and other physical parameters. Understanding and modeling these interactions requires specialized knowledge and experience. We model the flow problem precisely and include all the necessary details with the required accuracy.

Boundary conditions

The correct definition of the boundary conditions is crucial for the validity of the flow simulation results. We define consistent boundary conditions in order to achieve physically correct and reliable results.

Time dependency

We carry out time-dependent (transient) or time-independent (steady-state) flow simulations and select the calculation method according to the relevant requirements.

Verification of simulation results

We use measurements to validate simulation results and test the accuracy of a method for the respective application. We first benchmark the results of a simplified form against a suitable real measurement. This creates confidence for more demanding or complex questions that cannot be easily validated by measurement.

Time/cost efficiency

If an existing product can be measured, real measurement data as input variables for simulation models is not only more precise, but also more efficient to collect.
