In a research project, Novicos is developing a vibroacoustic measurement concept to determine the flow velocity. Turbulence or particles inside the flow amplify the excitations on the pipes and produce disturbances that influence the accuracy of the measurement results. By determining and quantifying these disturbances, we create the vibroacoustic background as a basis for the development project. The aim is a conservative estimation of the strongest stimulating effects and the maximum expected sources. For this purpose, the excitation of structure-borne sound by flow and particle collisions was simulated.
