Fatigue strength Power spectrum

Your full-service fatigue strength service provider

We provide you with comprehensive support in optimizing the service life of your products. You benefit from our predictions for wear and material fatigue, we examine possible solutions and formulate feasible and appropriate proposals for action.

Requirements analysis

We record customer requirements, material data, operating conditions and target service life.

Determine load spectrum

We identify and analyze static, quasi-static and dynamic loads and integrate them into a load scenario.

Modeling and calculations

We create a mathematical model that maps and calculates the service life as a function of the load spectra, such as service life models based on Wöhler curves. Depending on the product and application scenario, we make use of vibration analysis and operational vibration analysis methods as well as strength calculations.

Validation of the model

We validate the model using force or vibration measurements, for example, to ensure accuracy and fulfillment of customer requirements.

Interpretation

We evaluate results, develop and test solutions and formulate proposals for action.

Service life optimization and troubleshooting

Know-how for an optimal cost/benefit ratio

With our fatigue strength analysis, we optimize the performance of your product with regard to the planned service life and help to avoid overdimensioning. This can make your product lighter or more cost-effective, for example. In the event that components do not achieve the desired service life, we determine the reasons, develop and validate solutions and formulate proposals for action.

Material selection

Support in the evaluation of materials with higher fatigue strength.

Design optimization

Adaptation of geometry and design features to reduce stress concentrations.

Load management

Adapt operating conditions or usage patterns to reduce loads. A prominent example: load reduction through lightweight construction.

Protective measures

Evaluation of the effectiveness of coatings, seals or insulation.

Manufacturing processes

Support in improving production quality and consistency, e.g. through end-of-line test benches.

Do you know the fatigue strength of your product?

Describe your product or project. I will advise you on the necessary analysis tools and submit a non-binding offer.
